The Wellington City Council is closing down the Wellington Community Network on 30 June this year.

That means this website and some 540 other community websites will also be closed.


These three people represent you on the Wellington City Council. They are from left to right, Cr Jo Cougland, Cr Andy Foster and Cr John Morrison.

The Council's Long Term Community Plan says their approach to "promoting strong, safe, healthy communities is based on ensuring the infrastructure and services are inplace to meet resident and community needs.

Ask them how closing down 540 community websites fits with their stated policy.
